Default Haleakala

A photo from my recent trip to Maui. Taken on the Sliding Sands Trail in Haleakala National Park. Vast beauty in a barren landscape!

Welcome to DPS... great shot of Haleakala. I haven't been there in years, but I do have fond memories of that place. Did you go before sunrise? It's so beautiful up at the top while the sun is rising.
Thanks for sharing

Very well captured. Welcome to DPS, this is a very nice way to start us off.
Well composed and presented. My Wife and I were there in July, lot's of photo ops there.
Did you take the "Road to Hana"? L.o.l

Thanks for sharing this
Michael.

More like the "Road from Hana" - we drove counter-clockwise around the south end of Maui to Hana. I heartily suggest driving this route - not many people go this way and the photo opportunities are immense!
