Making the most of a messy situation

I've been trying to get a certain shot for two days now but have been rained out both days.

Picking up my wife from work last night I saw how wet and glossy the parking lot looked so I pulled up, rolled down the passengers side window and began shooting away!

The lady in the photo that is getting soaked probably didn't realise that she was also the victim of a drive by shooting

Reading the "Ten Photography Quotes You Should Know" from the tips and tutorials section I find #4 words worth putting into practise:

Nice capture! I also love the line of the lamps along the lot and how the rain has been highlighted in the light too. Nice reflections though. I have to say though that your comment about the lady being the victim of a drive-by shooting made me laugh out loud, my cat gave me a very strange look!
