Default First Newborn Shoot - Beginner.

My very first newborn session, I'm not very happy with the way they turned out. Some shots are too tight and I've cut off hands/feet. Gah! I was only able to get about a third of the shots I had planned to do due to the mother's time restriction. Oh well I'm going to stop beating myself up and nitpicking about every little thing. I'm doing another free newborn session in a week or two and another at the end of the month. I'm still working on editing these. Baby is 6wks old. Enjoy!

ahh im sure new mum will like any pics of her new baby.

I like the second pic, 4th and last pic are beautiful, a bit of a shame you cant see all that amazing hair against the black background.
have you tried any in B/W ?

I dont quite get the 5th pic what was your vision behind this? (please dont take this in a bad way, im interested)

I probs would have left a bit more room above head on 6th pics.

cute baby tho what is her name ?

Love that lil pink skirt!!!

I moved this out of the critique section for you. It seemed more like a lot of wonderful photos you wanted to share. (you may want to check out the guidleines as well at the top of each thread)

What a beautiful baby!! I am loving the tutu! Don't be so hard on yourself.... I personally don't shoot newborns over 2 weeks of age because they are VERY difficult to shoot the older they get.

Nice photos. She is very bright eyed for 6 weeks! I agree, it would be great to see more of her hair, which is beautiful. Good job tho.
