Default Under the Awnings

Just one more quick set from our Granville Island shoot. Once again, trying to stay dry, my friend Al and I weather it out under cover! This time out choice of cover was awnings! I promise no more...Well maybe? Thanks for coming by to have a look.

I can't remember the last time you posted more in colour than in B&W! The first is a great one for B&W, what wonderful lines and alternating zones of contrast. I especially love how the awning pattern reflects onto the pics/glass frames on the wall of the building. Stoe Age is wonderful - such a simple shot but SO much in it - All the colour & objects packed into that small scene in the window. And you know I adore that last shot!

Hi Paul! are those colors?hehe..seemed like there is something in the air in Grandville but of course you want some burst of color to at least compensate the dreary weather..love the green compost bin against the blue background..

Paul, I like the colors of your last two, especially the blue, green and black of your last one. I also like the lines, angles and patterns of your first.

Hi Hayward. I try to post different stuff, because I try to see the beauty not always in the subject matter, but sometimes in the colour or feeling that I get when I see something that peaks my interest. Thanks for the kind comments my friend.

Hi Vimalkv. I had a feeling you would enjoy that shot. You are like me, and enjoy the simplicity of B&W.
