Default A Winning Night Shot
Just want to share a little success with the group.

This shot of the Myriad Botanical Garden was taken in April 2009 at the Oklahoma City Festival of the Arts. I entered the photo this summer in a local bank's 2010 Calendar competition. I just received notification that I won the April page! The Calendar theme is "Public Events in Oklahoma." I had just purchased my Canon 5D Mark II with the 24-105mm IS lens so wasn't that familiar with the new rig. Never the less, I was able to capture this night image Hand Held! ISO 800, f/4, 1/8th second. Minor mods in LightRoom2. Won $100 to boot!

That is fantastic news and with Christmas just around the corner an extra hundred doesn't hurt.

Great caputre. Not surprised that it was picked at all.
