Update: if you want to write me directly while I'm gone, send mail to jharris@equilution.com
...so I'm stuck in the LAX terminal waiting for a flight I should have been on 5 hours ago, but have still another 4 hours before I leave!!! Mechanical problems forced the cancellation out of Tucson, causing me to miss my Frankfurt flight. On the flipside, though, now I've got a direct to Munich from LAX! Woohoo! Anyway, while waiting in Tucson, I found this really cool, psychedelic mural near the restaurant where I had breakfast. I used my 85 f/1.4 wide open, and focused on the front of the bus. I was surprised how it turned out...almost 3D-ish. You 1960s fans should like this one!! Austin Power's first shag-mobile! ![]() This one was taken of the table across from me in the LAX International terminal while I was choking down their version of chicken parm, and a couple of meatballs I should have used on the golf course instead of consuming them! I just liked the dark colors. International transience... ![]() Sorry...not much to look at, but I had to show something from Day 1! Auf Wiedersehen

Very cool! I've had a few too many vodka tonics, so it all looks good to me
![]() But seriously, being bored is one of the greatest imaginative boosts, in my opinion. I like the shot of the table. It looks like a lens baby shot.

Every journey starts somewhere! These are great photos for a "stuck in the airport" day. That VW sure takes me back, and I love the softness of the table photo. Wishing you a safe trip and a quick recovery from jetlag!

Oh Lord, what a pain in the bum. Good job you have the camera with you though, and some way of uploading and posting - you're never alone when your DPS family are around. We're a bit like the Verizon family I suppose, only bigger ;-)
Cool pics though, love the psychedelic van! And I'm wondering why there are only 3 places set at that table? More importantly, I'm also wondering why Martha is drinking vodka & tonics without telling me so I can open my bar too......
