Portrait Session - Girlfriend B&W

Last night was trying out some DIY lighting ideas and messing around with the camera and took this shot, thought it looked quite good in B&W compared to colour. What do people think?

It does look good in B&W. I like the dark background and the off-center composition very much.

Nice shot, Uber. More than the technical aspects of the shot, the pose, the eyes, the general manner of the model make the shot...only made better by the technical stuff. Well done! TFS, and welcome to DPS!

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement, my biggest problems are getting the lighting correct as i dont seem to have an eye for it and also perfecting the focus when the model wont stop twitching and moving and complaining they have a sore neck from trying to stay in a pose while i fiddle with the camera
