Default Theres a full moon tonight

I took these last night about 5pm but the moon was so bright that it had no real detail to it ..just a big white ball in the sky.

This is one id taken a while back

All great shots, but that third image is particularly amazing!

Well done!

Its funny how sometimes you can get a good shot and next time the same shot sucks but i was pretty happy with the third one too...but thankyou for your comment

Lovely captures! Like the flying lady in the first too!! There's something about the first shot that makes it my favorite (even before the witch!) - it's so simple, the blue sky is beautiful & the sharp, glowing white moon contrasts so lovely against it.

Well what the moon lacks in detail, you made up for with the lovely positioning of the sillhouetted trees and of course the witch lol.. I love the work you did with the third one, but you already know that and stuning detail in the last one. You shot the moon so so well Lorraine. Always ten out of ten for viewing pleasure.

I'd say there was plenty of detail in your first shot. You captured one of my co-workers perfectly.

You could try faster shutter speeds to get detail on the moon. Maybe 2 diff exposures to get the moon and the tree then combine them both in post processing. Good shots...
