I use to go up to the national park to the old train tunnel and you would come across kangaroos like this...they would sit and watch you while you sat in the car. I wish id had the camera bug while i was back home. these are great shots and i love the ones of them on the move.

My kids were so excited to see roobies in my sisters garden when we visited Perth in January. These are great shots of them Michele
Heres one we took with our P&S.
Needless to say these weren't the wild ones!

I had the feeling the thought was going through his head. I had disturbed him, he was getting rather amorous with a his little girlfriend (have the pictures to prove it) but she left. I think he was cranky.

I agree, I love to watch them jump, they make it look so easy

All would be capable of being skippy. I think there were many.

Thanks Patrick, I love to see them in the wild (even though I can't get close to them) in the wild they are always alert and on the move, in zoos they are very sedate.

Ha, they look like giant rabbits. My husband bought a joey home once(he was told never to do it again) they become so attached to you, it was worse than having a one year old child around you. Four hourly feeds and need to be with you constantly. Poor thing died in the end I didn't know they were lactose intolerant.

Great shots Michelle! I've heard that they can be pretty dangerous if you confront them. I think i'd stay a good distance away from them, especially if they looked at me like that!
Thanks for sharing these
Michael.
