The moon was huge on the horizon

I was driving back to work from looking at a friend's plumbing problem during my lunch break and came around the bend on the highway and saw this and immediately pulled over...why oh why do I have to be back at work in 7 minutes??? Still, the camera fails to do justice to what the eye sees.....



Made another quick stop.....jump out, shoot jump back in and drive and gawk in amazement



Had to jump out yet again and get off a final shot before getting back to work....This would have been beyond awesome if this had been a red moon....

I think you did a great job with these, Patrick. I especially like the third shot. Something about its composition that draws me to it. It could be the tree on the left acting as a frame, or the fence below the building leading me into it. Nicely done.

Awesome moon captures Patrick!! we have a similar one here in NZ now and then as big as this one is, but not very often thanks for sharing, love the last shot with the barn, the moon really stands out against the barn in that one cheers Steve.
