Default Grasshoppers

Still no rain and the kangaroos enjoy grazing on the watered playing fields in the afternoons.

Great shots! Such wonderful animals, I love kangaroos. I've only ever seen them at zoos, & hope that one day I get to see them in person in your lovely country.

Love that first one Michele where all 5 in the foreground are airborne!

Michele, I love your grasshoppers! What a great title. And the photos? Well, you've convinced me, I just have to come to Australia to see them for myself. Here in Arizona every drop of rain is precious, so I wish you many raindrops. Wonderful photos -- thanks for sharing them.

Thanks Nicky, it really isn't a common site to see large mobs of kangaroos in the wild, I would say that the only place most Australians have seen kangaroos is in a zoo. Usually you only see them by the side of the road at sunrise or sunset playing chicken with the traffic, but as it gets dryer more and more of them are coming into town.
