Thanks for the nice comments everyone. The Strobist info is on Flickr, but since you all asked ...
I had my Pentax 540fgz at 1/64 power in the bag on a Cactus wireless receiver. I had the wide angle panel out so the light would spread and be diffused a bit and not burn my face out. I also had a Vivitar 285HV on a light stand camera right and high enough to shoot down at my head and spill some light on the table - also triggered using Cactus wireless. That was set for 1/16th power in telephoto mode with a DIY grid snoot attached. I had black felt draped on the wall behind the small table with bag - table about 6 feet out from the wall and in a dark room. My camera was about 5 feet out from the table and it on ISO 200, F/11 and 1/160 - prefocused with room lights on and then switched them off for the shot (on manual focus). I got into position and using my remote trigger on a 3 second delay I got into position. I probably took a dozen different shot with various expressions and slightly different positioning ... I liked this one the best. I think it would be way better with a child doing the peeking instead of that ugly guy in the shot

Very well done, great shot! I kind of agree with you...that it would look more nostalgic with a small child doing the peeking!
