My first attempts at photographing the moon -- it has always seemed beyond my reach, but stretching is good! Hoping for some sunset tinted clouds to go with it tomorrow. Thanks for looking at these -- I'm always grateful for your comments.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() When I was a very little girl my grandmother taught me this song: I see the moon; the moon sees me. The moon sees somebody I'd like to see. God bless the moon, and God bless me, And God bless somebody I'd like to see.

Beautiful shots! The moon looks so bright and smooth! I think the first is my favorite, I really love the lighting and the slight shadows down below.

Beautiful set Helen. I really love the first one. Love the moon with the low sunlight on the rocks... Very nice.

And I have been playing this version of that song every day for a week! Helen, these are beautiful. Don't you just love a "day" moon? And then to see it shining over "your" mountain. What a combo! The red rock, the blue sky and the silvery moon has the wow factor in spades. So nicely done! (I'm practicing this song for Miss Soleil this weekend).
