Default A Tiny Bit of Christmas

This was at the front desk of the hotel I was staying at in Japan. It was cute so while I was waiting for my dry cleaning, I snapped the pic with my Panasonic GF-1.

At f/1.7 I liked how even the foreground reflections off the textured counter top makes a nice effect.

Very cute! I agree, the reflections and texture are really nice effects. I also like the depth of field you used here.

Look like little crystals on the desk! Cute train. I love seeing all the decorations around Christmas!

Thanks The DOF was both for aesthetics as well as necessity since it was pretty dark in the lobby. It worked out well though! The decorations certainly makes nice photo subjects this time of the year!
