I shot my daughters dance recital today with my borrowed (slowly becoming mine somehow) Olympus. I had to pump the ISO up to get hand-holdable shutter speeds in the poor lighting. I also put together a layout from a gymnastics practice I shot the other day.
Images are a bit noisy, but I'm happy with how they turned out. First, gymnastics layout: ![]() Then at the dance recital I got brave and put myself on stage to take a picture of the crowd and performers. It's amazing how people think you're official and proffesional when you have a "real looking camera" with a "great big lens". That would be the E-410 with 40-150 kit lens on. *grin* I cropped and did a contrasty BW for effect. ![]() Ivadel had her feet start hurting towards the end of the performance. She used 3 year old logic and plopped herself down on the floor to take off her shoes and remove the pain. Good Girl! ![]() My favourite from the day. Ivy playing with the mirror in the studio. I did a selective colour on it in Lightroom to make the reflection B&W. I'm really happy with this. ![]() Thanks for looking, and thanks for your comments if you choose to share them. |
