Cool shots, Dawg! Sort of reminiscent of some shots I've seen of Civil War battlefields with that ghost effect!! Nicely done! TFS

I set the camera up for a proper exposure for the lighting conditions present. I then set the flash to fire immediately on opening the shutter. The resulting effect is that all stationary objects are captured properly exposed, and the moving ones exposed by the flash have a ghostly appearance.
