Inspired by Dizworld's black and white submissions I had a play with some images today instead of going out in the rain. Not as contrasty as I would like but I will keep trying!

Wow, all gorgeous B&Ws, Mike will be honored indeed. I love the patterns and the contrast in the first one. The simple nature of the 2nd, combined with the perspective & moody sky is just wonderful. And like Paul, I too adore the 3rd shot - the water effect is very powerful. Love these shots.

Thank you all for your comments. The third one was from a few years ago - a really, really wet holiday in October in the Yorkshire Dales! It's just awesome up on the moors.
