Default Holiday in South Carolina

The flying pelican is my favorite, but I really like the light and shadows on the palms and the setting sun over the water.

Sorry, but I like both the palm shot and the sunset over the pelican. The pelican would be a great shot if it didn't look like it was bumping its beak into the frame of the shot. Was this a crop? Do you have the original that you could re-crop to leave some 'lead room'?

Fun combination of photos. I really like the palm fronds -- the way the sun makes them glow is marvelous!

Nice set to view on a chilly morning. I love the sun shining behind the wing feathers.

I agree with the suggestion you give mr pelican a little space to "fly into". That balance in the frame will add to the appeal. I would also attempt lightening the shadows a wee bit on that shot.

Please repost if you decide to make any adjustments.
