Default Creme burlee

My first post so hope I do it correctly.

My dad is 86 and we weren't sure that he could join our family on Thanksgiving until that morning. He was feeling well on "Turkey Day" so was able to make the trip across town to join his son and daughter in law, two grandsons and 5 great grandchildren. Dad is allergic to wheat products so my loving wife made creme burlee desert just for him. A side benefit was the fun the great grandchildren had putting the torch to the little cups of joy (with appropriate adult supervision.) This limited depth of field shot of the desert cups will always remind me of a wonderful day with dad! I did shoot the kids torching activities but didn't get any shots of artistic quality.

Yum. When is dessert at your place next?

Am pleased your dad managed to make it. Just wouldnt have been the same with him not at the table. I am in the same boat at the moment - hoping that my grandfather can join us for a family Christmas celebration mid December (is as close to Christmas as I could get to going home to family - 5 hr drive...) as he has just finished undergoing radiation treatment.

Great image, and love the depth of field. Well done.
