Superb shots! Steve will love your beach in the first shot, it's spectacular. I also love the PP effects in the last ones, they look awesome!

Beautiful work. The first 2 are just so stunning. Your shots make me want to walk on a beach......I live near Dallas Texas so that's not going to happen anytime soon.

Really like the second shot. What is a walk on the beach without seagulls right?

Nice.

Spectacular shots Vin, thats a lot of power behind that crashing wave. I love the shot of the seagulls flying over the stone wall. And the painted coastguard is another masterpiece.

Thanks Sher, I went out yesterday with no set purpose and just wanted to see what I could find. The wind made things a little hard to shoot things.. but it did create some good photo ops , thanks for your kind words.

Nice.
Thanks Storm, well there were plenty of seagulls riding the wind, that flock all seemed to decide to move to a different area at once.. I took quite a few of them, but the wind was pushing me all over and most were blurred, I was glad to get one or two keepers, thanks for your kind words.

Thanks Haywood.. it's really wasn;t such a perfect day... wind had to be blowing at 40mph at times, I had trouble just trying to be still while I was shooting... but the wind also caused some pretty cool scenes... glad you like them and thanks very much for the " wow " !

Thanks Angela, the seqgulls really challanged me to find the right focus setting, I settled on evaluative metering to try and get as many clear as I could.

Thanks very much for your compliment on the Coast Guard painting, I know there are not to everyone's taste.. but I really enjoy doing them and they are a bit of work, I'm still leaning and gaining experiance and sometimes I'm not sure if they are good or not... a few kind words goes a long way for my confidence with them.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate all your comments

Vin
