Many of you will remember a thread that Gary posted recently with a photo of a beautiful sunset that he'd caught reflected in his car roof.
I was thinking of him this afternoon - I've spent a few days traipsing around NH, & after being confined indoors yesterday due to torrential rain, I managed to get outside today when it was dry; however, the price I paid instead was windspeeds of up to 45mph. At one point late afternoon I was trying to photograph this grand hotel & decided to lean against my car to help steady my camera. Purely by accident did I encounter the Chiwalatta Effect! I had to take the shot in Gary's honor anyway, it made me laugh. Don't let the beautiful, bright blue sky fool you by the way - it was baltic! I was wearing 3 layers of clothing as well as gloves. The windchill had reduced the temperature to about 42 degrees. The "Wentworth by the Sea": A Marriott Hotel in New Castle, NH

Beautiful, love the shot. Lucky the roof of your car was clean, you will probably have the rain to thank for that, if you're anything like me.
