Default A Trip With Preacherman : Hop Aboard (6)

Hope all Pilgrims are well this morning. I promised you Prague today but it is a 2 day ride from our last port of call. However, by the use of cyber-magic and photographic license my promise will not be broken. Last night I asked my sat-nav to find us a campsite en-route, and of all the unpronouncable name to choose from it picked out a lovely site in BABYLON! And yes, it was beside a river. Well, lets be on our way.

The road from Babylon to prague. A stop for a you know what. No, a leg stretch.
En Route to Prague

Now we're in Prague. This is the view of the famous Charles Bridge over the River Vltava. It has 30 spectacular monuments, 15 down each side, and is a phenmenon in it's own right. Enjoy your walk across it.
Vltava River towards Charles Bridge

Here is just one of those 30 works of art on the bridge. This is no 6, The Holy Cross.
The Holy Cross, Charles Bridge

The Royal Castle on the hill top, where the changing of the guards takes place. Not quite Buckingham Palace, but beautiful in it's own right.
Royal Castle (I think!) Prague

Have a meander around freinds, and enjoy. We have a further day here tomorrow, before moving west to Nuremburg. See you in the morning for more Prague goodies. Good night, god bless. PAUL

some good shots there.i ilke the 2 best.though it seems you should have waited a bit longer for the boat to be totally in the frame.in all of the pics its sem there are some little tinsy mistakes the photographer didn't see when the pics where taken.this is jsut my personal opinion.
TFS!

A biking road! And does that boat fit through the arches on the bridge?

HI Paul, Well I loved our last stop so much, I stayed another night and got the train to meet back up... lol is that a good enough excuse for missing yesterday. Sorry buddy, I just needed to do some resting.
Well I'm glad I caught you up, this set is beautiful I especially like the last one. So much deatail and wonderful clarity. But I love them all. I can't wait for the next leg now. I wont be missing that one. I don't have the train fare.. Thanks for the ride Paul.

Dave.

Another early start Paul, I'll be needing a vacation to recover from this one when we get home ;-) But well worth the early start, look at that lovely architecture and scenery. I love the monuments on the bridge, quite spectacular. And the castle is beautiful. Plus, what lovely sunshine we're having. And thankfully Dave caught back up with us just in time for an afternoon beer ;-)

Preacherman- thanks for taking us along. I hope the trip to Nuremburg isn't a trial.

Actually- it appears the boat is moving out of the frame (look at the wake- it's small since the boat is slow).

I'd say he got nice shots with had he had to work with.
