My camera is a point and shot and due to the present assignment I experimented with the zoom trying to emulate the 50mm lens effect.
These are some of my experiments. If you check the EXIF you will note I managed to zoom to 49.6mm or 50.7 at the most; not perfect, but close enough for me. Acoustic guitar: ![]() Spinning Top: ![]() It was fun experimenting and am pretty satisfied with the results. Thanks a lot for looking! Feedback and comments are greatly appreciated. Interesting. I suppose I never thought of emulating this since I am used to a 50mm lens.

Thanks Adamcha!
Well, this experiment is the product of curiosity enforced by the current assignment, and with only a P&S avaialble. I asume one will never think of ghetto lighting if there is professional lighting available ... right? (unless enforced by DPS!)
