Default Twilight Sky Photography over Oceanside Pier w/ Dennis Mammana

Well... first post...

I did a city sky workshop with Dennis Mammana and OPT on this past Sunday down in Oceanside... Event was sponsored by Canon so I got to switch religions for an evening and play with the Canon EOS 5D mk2 and 16-35mm f2.8 lens. Ridiculously awesome equipment. Here's a few shots. critiques and comments encouraged!

album is located here on smug for larger sizes

1)

2) I like the rocks here but I wished I had better DOF.

3) Rocks not as nice but DOF is better.

4) Star bursts!!!

A hearty welcome to DPS, Richmar. Regardless of the DOF, these are all great for their own reasons. I love the first one, even though the pier is out of focus...my eyes were immediately drawn to the rocks in the foreground. The last shot is spectacular. Thanks for sharing these. I hope to see more! Thanks for sharing.
