Default Power lines/buildings/fields with perspective/in black and white

Hi all
Something a but more lighter on the subject matter this time and no water. These are some shots i took back in the summer just after finding the old Gibbet tree (if you remember that thread). They are all from around the area of Fulbrook nr Burford in Oxfordshire. The Barn and Dovecott are on Capps Lodge farm and nr to the old site of the Capps Lodge inn a haunt for Highwaymen, thiefs.cattle rustlers in the 1800s. It was used by the Dunston bros who were later hung on the Gibbet tree.Dont ask me why i took a shot of the power lines as i cant think of anything other than nice contrasts against the sky. Post editing was done with Silver elex Pro.
thanks
mike

I really like the 3rd shot. Your view point and long dof really creates an interesting shot with the heavy sky.

Mike, The fourth photo perhaps explains number 2. You have a gift of abstraction and appreciation for lines and shapes, simply as line and shapes. Very nice. The sight of old stone buildings with weathered windows frames will always be welcome. Your third photo makes me want to book flight to England just so I can stand where you stood to take that Ah..mazing photo and see it in person!

Great shots, Mike. I love the Lodge Field shot. I always love the contrast you achieve in your b/w shots. TFS!

i dont do a lot of landscapes and i didnt set out to do any this day, in fact i went into the field as i was chasing after a hare, i wonder why i didint get any photos of it lol!!. The field had been cut and had some great lines running through and the sky was so blue with the clouds.
This is another image i did with silver elex pro.

Beauties Mike! Love the barn & the field especially, but I've never seen power lines look so good! Paul L will love these B&Ws too!

PS - I think you forgot something in your signature - just after the nurofen you need to add your straightjacket.
