Some Colour For Everyone Stuck In The Wet Grey UK.

Well, got my first non kit lens for my birthday, Sony 50mm 1.4. Since the weather its horrible up here in the North East, I had my first play with it on the flowers I bought my wife for our anniversary.

Hope they bring a bit of cheer to anyone else who is stuck inside, looking at a wet grey world through a rain spotted window. Nothing fancy, just lots of bright colours.

I am stuck in the wet grey Midlands so you pretty flowers have added lots of colour, I love the last pic especially, though they are all great.
I have been thinking of getting that same lens, think now my mind is made up!

Glyn, I'm no expert but I can't express enough how pleased I am with the lens, the difference between that and the two kit lenses I have is in another league altogether. In fact, I'm quite surprised that even I could see it !

It's worth shopping around for one, I've seen them as high as £300ish, but quite often as low as £180 for used/as new on ebay. Mine was just 6 months old/as new from Amazon for £180, so worth checking there too.
