These are very cool it looks like natural light but if it is how in the world did you stop the action without any blurring

thank you for appreciating the work
first of all, it is not natural light, all studio lighting (it was inside a closed auditorium) hence the high intensity light help with the exposure.
i used a very high ISO setting (around 2000) and a shutter speed of around 1/250th of a second to 1/125th of a second (depending on the color of the light, as yellow lights are the brightest)
and most importantly, i really admire my new camera (Canon EOS 50D) which has amazing image processing ability in low light!

Wow, these are great! Love the way you've composed these shots, especially the first and third. Lots of raw emotion here that you've captured very effectively. Thanks for sharing these!

the composition, lighting and capture on these is excellent. Well done. I particularly like the last 2 - how close were you and what lens were you using?

thank you so much, i am using a sigma 18-200mm OS lens, after much thought to it, as I was advised against it for poor performance in low light, but after these pics, i beg to differ

in the second last pic, i am quite far away (focal length 154mm)
in the last pic, i am backstage (51 mm)
