Smile Hello from a new member :)

Hi All

Would just like to introduce myself. My name is Peta (nickname Potsy) and I've been doing photography courses for about a year now and learning lots about photography on the net. I live in Australia in a mining town and have just started to do photo shoots for friends and family. I love photography.....still learning but very passionate, and I needed somewhere to post my photos and get some feedback. I hope you will welcome me aboard and I can learn a lot from you all.

Cheers
Potsy

Here is a shot from a shoot that I did last weekend. We decided to go ahead, despite the 40 degree heat on a windy day, don't think I will be doing that again in a hurry!! ..... This is one of my favourite shots and would love to know what you all think....

Ok....so the upload isn't working....might be me so I will add a link to my Flickr page

Hi Peta

Welcome to DPS. Great to have another family member join us!

You may need to try and repost as your picture hasnt come through... or maybe its just me?

Anyway, again, welcome.

Hi Potsy. Welcome to DPS. I hope you enjoy yourself amongst our family. Here is a copy of a message I just sent to a freind who was having the same problem. Hope it helps.

Hi Besu. We gotta get this right because your work MUST be shared. It's too
good to keep secret. Right. Go to your flickr site. Click on the pic you
want to download onto DPS. Click on 'All Sizes'. Click on 'Medium'. Then
right click on the coded formula in HTML window. It will all turn blue.
Click 'Copy'. Now open you DPS window where you want to post the pic. Now
'Paste'. The formula will appear. When you post, it will turn into a
picture. Do it now and I will watch out for it. Do the sunset one again.
It's terrific. PAUL

Welcome, Potsy, and please keep trying to get your photo up. The portraits on your Flickr site are great, and DPS is a wonderful forum for sharing them -- lots of great people here!

Hi Potsy and Welcome to DPS! I see Paul has beaten me to explaining how to get your pictures to show. I hope you'll enjoy your time at DPS as much as I have. It's a great place to grow, learn, and share all things photography! I went to your flickr and I thought your pictures were great. Looking forward to seeing more.
