Default Not really your typical sunset pictures

First off, I don't have any water to reflect a sunset, no vistas to throw shadows and bank light, nothing! I have long stretches of undulating land with trees here and there and they make for very boring sunset pictures. I have to rely alot on clouds for drama.....The other element is time......If I close the store, I get lunch from 4-5pm and the sun really sets about 5:15 or so. So I miss the best part of it...the sky is a bit too bright still. If I open the store, which is not that often, I can catch a sunset on the way home....I closed tonight, so this is a rush, shoot, rush back scenario. The last shot is taken while driving back to the store and it is the view in the side view mirror on my car.....Yeah, I know that trying to line up a camera on the side view mirror while driving 50mph is a wee bit crazy but it is what I do for you folks!

You are the intrepid photographer, aren't you. With all the challenges you faced, you got some great shots. They have the feel of winter with the leafless trees in silhouette and the barns add a nice element. As you might remember, I specialize in sideview mirror shots. With this difference--someone else it driving!!!!!!

I appreciate your craziness at taking that last shot while driving, it happens to be my fave out of all these wonderful sunset shots. Thanks Patrick for going that extra mile at capturing these for us.
