It time for.... another 'I have no idea what it's called' flower shot..
![]() I saw a bunch of this flower under a large tree the other day. But this particular one pulled me to it. It was glowing as the sunlight passes the canopy above and shone on it. ![]() Sparda http://digital-photography-school.co...otography.html |

The word that popped into brain upon seeing your What is it Called is elegant. You must be a flower magnet and the beautiful ones keep drawing you to them. Beautiful.

and yet again it looks familiar but i dont know the name of the flower..(tried to ask around in the office but nobody could identify it.. ) wouldn't try to give Filipino names to coz you can easily decipher it..![]() aside from the missing name, your shot has a lovely bokeh and the red flower really stands out amidst the green leaves..

This shot shows great use of shallow depth of field, as well as very nice colour contrast. Very nice work, Sparda.

Thank you very much... I googled up 'red ginger', and it's true... this is 'red ginger'... And based on what I've read in several flowers and plant websites, 'red ginger' originates from Malaya/Malaysia. lol... and I call myself a Malaysian... lol...Sparda http://digital-photography-school.co...otography.html |
