Hi! I joined a 5k marathon last weekend..(after so many years!?!..couldn’t even remember the last one but i had more stamina at that time..) I am not really a morning person but woke up at 4:30 am to go to the venue....I didn’t do much running though coz I had to stop every now and then to take pictures..(and portability is really one of the advantages of P&S..haha..)..my muscles ached after that but no regrets coz it was all for a good cause - greater awareness for climate change..
.. hope you enjoy the view and any blur may be due to fatigue..i must be getting old..lol.. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The venue is the University of the Philippines (my Alma Mater)

Firstly Jennie, congrats on the run! And what a great cause too. But almost as important was taking these wonderful photos to share with us. I love them all, but that first one is spectacular - what fabulous trees! Hope the aches are easing a bit now!

Wow Jennie, I get tired just taking photographs. You do a marathon AND take photographs. Well done on both the run and the shots. And BTW I think Jim and I may start a petition entitled "Bring back the Jennie avatar", cos we miss your smile. PAUL

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!' I had no idea you were such an athlete Jennie, and I'm looking forward to the pictures of you and fellow runners during the race. In the meantime these are excellent. Four stunning pictures with great colour and long shadows as the sun streams through the trees. My favourite is the second that has a end of a really good day feel about it, as people apparently make their way home
