Default Brighten up your day with yellow sunshine flowers

When the West Australian bush erupts into brilliant array of wild flowers in spring one of the predominant colours is yellow - there are many different varieties. One of the best ways to experience WA's wildflowers is on the "everlasting drive" in our mid west. A must for a wild-flower drive or walk is a patient companion!

Tonight I share with you just a few of these brilliant yellow flowers - I hope it will brighten the day for those of you entering winter in the north.

This is the Silver Cassia - which I photographed at Camel Soak camping area near Perenjori - a favourite camping site of ours in Spring.

Oh they're lovely! Definitely needed some brightening up over here - it's grey and misty overhead in Boston!

On a cold, dark, rainy day here in UK, what a way to brighten up not just the day but the mood. You made my day with these Jill. I think they will sustain me right through to Spring. Thanks. PAUL

Jill, I love them all. Beautifully photographed. Great to have the names on them, and I especially love the field of flowers stretching into the distance. Thanks for sharing them; they did brighten my day!
