Good morning fellow DPS pilgrims. Hope you slept well. Are you ready for some of the most stunning scenery the creator ever gave us? I never imagined how fine food and fellowship could be until we embarked on our journey together. Life will never be the same from here on in. Well, enough of that, first stop gas station, second stop Mac.... er, a place for breakfast, and then we'll Rock an' Roll.
These rivers feed into small "troughs" in local villages where people quench their thirst by drinking it untreated, it is so pure, just like the air. Our road is just to the right there. ![]() I am trying to keep my eyes on the road freinds, but it's not easy. With the hot dry roads, warm tires and heavy load, I pegged out a few times. Awesome. ![]() Bear with me a few minutes pilgrims, while I spend a short spell in this small church having a quiet time and giving thanks. We have so much to be thankful for. If you know anyone feeling a little (or a lot) down right now, tell them to ditch the pills and join us. They will not regret it. ![]() What an exilerating ride. We will stop here for a meal at the delightfully unpronouncable place called Bischofshofen, then pitch the tent just 1 mile further on and just a days ride from Vienna (about 400 miles). I pull in here and as I try to do a u-turn in the car park, I stall and go flying in one direction, bike in 'tother. A kind German biker passing by helps me resurrect it and all is OK. He doesn't speak a word of English, and by the end we are both experts in sign language, faith completely restored in human nature. ![]() Hope you enjoyed the meal. Tent is now pitched and there is a pleasant little hostelry a few minutes walk down the lane. They have fine wine and ales for those who indulge, and equally fine tea's and coffee's for those who don't. Walk with me will you, and the short walk back will feel as though neither we nor the world have a single care about anything other than each other. Good night, God bless.

HI Paul. I made it today.. Wow we had a great ride today, I'm glad you stopped for food at the end. I needed to go back and reflect on this wonderful scenery. Your captures are outstanding Paul, I can't really pick a favourite but if I had to it would be the third one. Thank you so much for this leg of the journey. Can't wait to rock and roll again tomorrow. You are such a great host.
Dave.

Oh what fine scenery again Paul! I'd forgotten how lovely Austria is. Good job you're towing us all along on that bike of yours - some horsepower it has to keep us all on board! The photo with the church and mountains is terrific, although they all are! I definitely needed that coffee this morning too, good job it was the fully leaded stuff they served us.
