What are your thoughts on Lightroom Preset?

Hello there and if this is your first post, then welcome ... I'm not too familiar with this application .. downloaded the trial ver but didn't use it a lot .. as for this photo - except for the tad too much hilites, I say it's not too bad ..

Hey welcome to DPS.
Nice shot as for Lightroom Presets I personally love them, but I have found that you have to experiment a lot until you find exactly what you want because some shots don't look as good as others with a particular preset.

What application do you use for your post processing then?
Thanks for the suggestion - it is a bit bright I suppose but I did want to create the dreamy look.

Ronie -

I'm totally with you - some photos are just not meant to be Preset-ed but some others are.. It is a great way of making an otherwise bland photos "interesting".
