Default First shot with new lens

This is my first shot(s) with my new EFS 17-55mm F2.8 IS that I have been waiting to get my hands on. I got lucky with a beautiful sunset on my first day of holiday at the beach flat - handheld (no tripod unpacked yet), stuck on AEB (+1.5,-1.5) and used Dynamic Photo to tone map, then cropped some off the bottom of the frame. Total PP was about 3 mins.

Sunset over Indian Ocean

EXIF
Camera: Canon EOS 50D
Exposure: 1/1600 (800+3200)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 17 mm
ISO Speed: 800
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: Off, Did not fire

Oh, it's beautiful. I love the way the buildings fade as the ocean and the sky command my attention. Such gorgeous colors.

Its a beautiful shot. The clouds are outstanding and the color is amazing. It is tack sharp. Looks like you chose a great lens.
