Smile Kingdom of Wonders - Cambodia!

If you're considering a trip to Asia, I'm quite sure Cambodia is a great place to explore & take photos! Angkor Vat is just SPETACULAR! No images can tell.

Still I tried to capture a part of its beauty.. And here are some most favourite ones. I hardly like taking B&W shots. This time is an exception. I love how it turns out..

It's a big pity that part of it is under restoration.. The proof (made by coconut leaves), the bamboo lines & the instruction sight of course is not original..

Honestly this shot is not originally B&W. The original is actually not bad. I just prefer consistency for the whole set (I do feel a bit guilty though..)

More B&W shots posted on my Flick! Pls. feel free to click through if you're interested ^^.

And after Cambodia, make sure you consider travelling to Viet Nam ^^. Just near by. A lot of interesting places & you'll get me taking you around hehehe.

Hope you enjoy & thanks for viewing,
MINH

Minh, great set, thanks for posting them and am always willing to see other parts of the world. I have been to Hong Kong and several provinces in the Philippines. Your photos of Cambodia are a great representation!

Minh, I love that first one. So much mystery in it, and such beauty in the curving line of the tree. I've dreamed of visiting Angkor Wat -- maybe someday!

Thanks for these Minh. Cambodia is one of my "must see" places, and you have just made the urge even worse. Thanks (I think). PAUL

Wow, those are absolutely amazing shots. They look almost like miniature scale stuff, from a movie. The shot of the tree roots is my favorite.

Minh....these are spectacular...really well done. Love the first two especially. Thanks for sharing some of what I'll probably never see.

Beautiful, Minh, just beautiful!! The b/w is perfect for these, especially the tree. What a great shot. I like 'em all!! I've been to many places in Asia. Unfortunately, Cambodia was not one of them. TFS

Great pictures ! I plan to go there in a year or two. Everything I see and everything I hear about Cambodia make me want to go more.

Minh, don't feel guilty, everyone does that ! And if you shoot in RAW you can easily select color or BW during post processing. If you shoot in JPEG, converting a color image to BW can gives you more options.

Thanks for sharing

These are great. Yes the B&W really works here. I'll probably never get to visit Cambodia so you pics are very special. Your set on Flickr is very nice too. TFS.
