Default "She'll be coming round the mountain when she come's"

I found a convex safety mirror on the side of the road, high up in the hills of the Coromandel range's yesterday and decided to put it to good use. After some mountain climbing and a few funny looks I managed to come up with these shots....

No drivers were distracted or harmed in any way while taking these shots.

Can you see what I see

Trickery no 1

Convex mirror

Mountain 2

Thanks for viewing.

I will have to keep an eye out for this mirror. I am off to the Coromandel Peninsula on Thursday (work trip, but very fun). I am doing the trip on my own this time so will have plenty of time to stop and take pics at my leisure without feeling rushed. Great shots. Very thoughtful. TFS.

Very cleverly done. #4 is my favourite. I love the juxtaposition of the car/no car. Lovely colour and great framing on #3 as well. Thanks for sharing.

These are great! I love the 3rd and 4th ones -- having some landscape context with the mirror helps me picture it. Thanks for sharing them.

What a great idea! (Good disclaimer too!) I think the last one is my favourite - love the perspective and composition. Fabulous idea.
