Default The alien vegetable

I spotted this vegetable in the local supermarket and had the urge to photograph it. I liked it so much I wanted to share with you guys

Welcome to DPS.....that is definitely a very strange vegie. Do you know what it is suppose to be? Looks like a christmas tree farm gone very very wrong.

"Fractal vegetable" describes it. Looks like it's in the mustard family (cauliflower, broccoli, brussel sprouts)- I'd guess it was a hybrid of some of those.

BTW- nice capture of something unique- it had some art to it, rather than being clinical.

It is a Roma Cauliflower, from Rome, Italy. Its very common here in Italy at this time of year. Thanks to everyone for the nice comments. Appreciated.
