Default Hibiscus

I was working on an assignment for a photography class and I was walking around our condo complex and found these peering through the white fence.

I prefer the second one. The hibiscus have all gone to sleep up here.

Very nice...I find them difficult to photograph because the center sticks out so far....one part or another of the flower is always blurry.

Thank you. I know they are currently blooming and I think they bloom from spring through late fall. We are still in the 60-70's. I took this class between August 24 to October 19 and I don't remember exactly when I took this picture. Trudi

Trudi, these are so nicely done! I don't think I've ever seen hibiscus that shade of yellow. One thing I really like about that first one is the shadow of the ... (help! I've forgotten my botany! Is it a pistil or a stamen that is sticking up in the middle?) ... anyhow, whatever it is, I like that little shadow on the petals. Thanks for sharing them.
