These are great. I'm working on getting into a few of the local reenactment society's around here for several reasons but this is certainly one of them. I love the smoke haze shots. The troops seem almost ethereal.

The first one is striking, nice action shot of the person falling off the horse.

Great captures of the action here...I hope to do the same thing in the Spring when they do the Perryville re-enactment

Oh wow! These are great. I'm normally not a fan of b&w but it fits these pics.

Great shots, Sky! The b/w is perfect for these "blasts" from the past....pun most definitely intended!!

I love the smoky battlefield in that first one. That's the feel I was trying to achieve in my Checkmate shot with the fog machine. TFS!
