I like the b/w myself. I'm kinda torn though. I like the low contrast in the b/w...it works well with the uniform pattern in the paver patio. But, the color side of me would love to sit on one of those benches and enjoy the greens. I'd be 60% for b/w, 39% for the color, and 1% sad because I'm not there!!!

I would prefer the black and white one but first having been ran through photoshop with a levels adjust. As for the possibility of a blown sky, a hightlights adjustment also in photoshop may take care of that. The image is sharp but the comp could use a tweek I think. Another thing of note is that you seem to be shooting dead-on towards the sun, one reason for a blown sky maybe. I would like to think that a wide angle and lower profile in taking this shot would have worked in this image much better.
