Default Gobble, gobble, gobble

Found these fine feathered friends frolicking in someones front yard while on an afternoon wildlife excursion. There was a group of five but they were so close I couldn't get the whole group in the frame with the setup I was using. Minutes after taking these shots they cut out behind the house, across the creek then an open field headed for their roosting trees along another creek. Hope you enjoy.

The first shot is gorgeous, the texture of the feathers is so strong and I like the way both the front birds are looking the same way out of frame.

I can't see the second one either here, or on Flickr.

Didn't recognise them without dressing and cranberry.

Really quite a colourful bird. Thanks for sharing those shots.

Both are great photos! I really like the way the first one makes me wonder what they're looking at and what's going through their little turkey minds. Something, I'm sure of it!

Very cool shots, WestX. I don't think I've ever seen them like this in the wild. I've seen the smaller variety, but these are great!! TFS
