Mean looking machine, Preacher!! But I wouldn't want to speed through that beautiful scenery too fast. I once spent 15 days in an RV traveling from Texas to Vancouver Canada via west through N Mex, Ariz, California (San Diego) then north through Oregon and Washington -- about 2800 miles.

Don't know if you have seen the GTR1400 shaft drive close up David, but it is positively brutal. A dream to ride. PAUL

Know what you mean alphasco, but sometimes it is so difficult not to wind her up. PAUL

There's so much in here Paul - from the foreground to the background! Gorgeous scenery, & a nice, shiny bike!

Thanks Jim. Next two trips are March and April next year, so thought I would take one of last years trips again and take my DPS friends with me. Enjoy the ride. PAUL

Having owned a few bikes, I would think that this one would be uncomfortable for "touring and viewing" as you are laid over tank in racing form. It doesn't hurt your back at all?

Hi Patrick. It is not as low as it might appear, but it is lower than my Honda Pan cos I have fitted bar risers on that one. The GTR 1400 is remarkably comfortable riding position, but the seat is not. I have a Corbin seat on the Pan that I had shipped over from Florida. That is pure luxury. I am hankereing after a Hyabusa, now that's lying flat. I love all 2 wheel monsters. Thanks for taking a look. PAUL
