Unhappy His sweet ride

This old man was on his errand of the day. Couldn't imagine him just walking through the paddy field on that really hot afternoon.

His sweet ride

Beautifully composed, Sparda. Sepia does a really nice job of conveying the feeling of heat. Roads that disappear around the bend always appeal! Nice work!

Brilliant capture. I like the sepia treatment and the frame really suits this shot.

I like this shot too. Love the sepia treatment. He certainly does "tell a story". Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Lindy. I've hold on to this shot for quite a while. I just couldn't decide how I should edit it.

Thanks Angela. Glad you like the frame. I was afraid it might ruin the shot.

What a story this tells! I imagine the fatigue of a long ride home after a good day of hard work, the anticipation of a good meal, a peaceful evening with children at his feet. Thanks for sharing this photo.
