Arrow Weekend in Calgary - II - Spirit of Calgary - Calgary tower

Here's the second part of the Calgary series...
I did not get time to do a lot of PP on this set so there are many
shots that are not cropped correctly and even tilted greatly..
one of my friends wanted to see the pictures immediately
so I uploaded without working on them...

Here is a one that i was playing with, i wanted to do this for a long time,
a postal stamp. I've seen some very good examples on the internet
even with ink seal that make it look extremely realistic.
Its not great but here's one i did.

Calgary call the tower Spirit of Calgary, I did not go to the top as
i wanted to explore the city as much i could in the time I had.

You can see 2 tracks here and one tram running and there
are people on both sides on the pedways and there is even
a car parked in space that's remaining.
Trust me this is very relaxed scene compared what i've seen.
I like busy streets. ;-)

Here's the first part

If you have transits running up and down the streets, where do the cars drive?

I may never see Calgary in the flesh AC, but you are giving me the next best thing. Missed part 1 but just viewed it. Looking forward to more. Thanks. PAUL
PS Love the tram. I see it's going to Somerset.

You have some great shots of Calgary here. I remember as a kid going to the Bay store in your shot #5 to buy my LPs That is where I bought the Let it Be album .

Thanks for sharing. It is always interesting to see a city through someone else's eyes. I like your composition in the second and third ones. And the postage stamp is really neat!

Great shots to share with us! I agree too, it's always great to see a new place through someone else's eyes. The stamp is a fun idea too.
