Thanks! I took 8 shots and only 2 looked at all food. I had one I thought looked better except it was slightly out of focus. I was too lazy to get the tripod.

The background was the house foundation- just plain concrete.

That's what caught my eye too. There were others running around but they got "lost" against the ground. This one just sat still for me...it was alive since it moved on later.

This part of Nebraska is full of these things in late summer- all different sizes.

Great shot! I love the contrast/contradiction between the grey concrete background and the reddish brown wood/(leaf?) foreground with good old Jiminy Cricket on the horizon line.

Don't panic about the seasons though. It's all starting again down under.
