Default Gondola Driving

Ever wonder what a Gondolier does during the combination of flooding and high tides? I was in Venice a few weeks ago and witnessed this amazing act of dexterity! Captured with my Nikon D300 and Nikkor 18-200mm VR lens.

I imagine this happen quite often during flooding and high tide but I bet it is hardly ever captured the way you did. Good job

Great series! I didn't realize that the canals turned into an obstacle course. Looks like the driver was well skilled at it. Thanks for the share.
