Cool Are 12 year old boys allowed to be this handsome?

LOL....It's my Joey again (a.k.a. FerrariBoy, as some of you know him from his own posts here). He actually deigned to allow me to photograph him today, LOL! For some reason, I've found that most boys this age have "PutTheCameraAwayMomItis". Horrible disease. He had relief from symptoms this afternoon and actually allowed a few! Here is one of my favorites, almost SOOC, just a bit of playing, and the same one that I really had a good time with in Photoshop, LOL! Thank you so much, as always, for looking.

Plain ole version:

Love his eyes

And a little Windrider influence (yes, you, Michelle.):

Susan that is a good looking young man you have captured here! I like the treatment in the second shot but his eyes really make the first one! Thanks for sharing these.

Excellent capture, Susan. You're right, he's quite a handsome young man. Beautiful eyes, and he has the look of a very laid back, cool cat.

Very kind of him to model for you today; seems you were both "on". Kudos to both of you.

Hi Joey, Thanks, once again, for posing and allowing mom to share your photo with us here. I know it's a little hard to image, but there will come a time when you will be so glad to have these photos. They are a nice record of you through time. I assure other guys your age will not have this quality of photo to remember being this age by. Aren't your moms photos just getting better and better? You and Victoria have helped. When mom is making the big bucks as a photographer, I would remind her of the part you guys have played in her success, and maybe think about hitting her up for a small cut of her profits!

the eyes come through in both shots, but I think that I am preferential to the original......now let the boy be for a little while. Now you could always pay him if you need a photography fix......just dangle an I tune gift card for an hour of his time....my kids would go for that....

Super portrait Susan! Yes, boys are suppose to be than way, until they reach the teen age years, that's when the fun starts Colin, my 16-year-old, got his drivers license this week and is driving his Zissan 260 ZX to and from school and wrestling practice. My car insurance went from $100.00 a month to $260.00. Ohhhhhhhh Joyyyyyyyy!

Again...super portrait.......It's fun practicing on your own kids. But that day when they spot you with a camera in hand and will go running out the door. I vote for the first image posted.......the Sepia one is a nice effect, but as mentioned before, his eyes seem to POP in the color version.

Thanks, Mike! I prefer the first myself, and I agree his eyes pop in it, but I was dying to try working with textures, just for fun. Thank you so much for your comments!

Aimee, he is SO laid back, I'm so happy you saw that in my portrait of him! You always seem to say what I need to hear, thank you so much.

Thank you, Leona...You know, I have a lot of smiling photos of him, but I just LOVE his serious shots...something about his eyes and pouty lips, I don't know! LOL, thanks again.

LOL Linda! Big bucks? A very emphatic NO. And I do pay Joey for assisting me on shoots, way to encourage him for more $$$, LOL! Hey, I thought you were my friend? Just kidding....as usual, your thoughtful response makes my day! Joey did actually see this series (including some I didn't post here) and said "Mom, I'm SEXY!"

Good Lord help me when he's more interested in girls!

Thanks Patrick! LOL I do pay him! See my above answer to Linda, LOL. And I can't leave him alone, he's just to beautiful to NOT photograph!

LOL yeah, whatever, like I take your opinion seriously.

Thank you SO much! You know how much I really DO value your opinion.

Oh, and good luck with Colin, I laugh shamelessly at you! (Till Joey's that age, of course, then I take it all back.)
