Default Storms on Portland, Dorset UK

New to these forums, have been slowly building my website up to show off various snaps (a work in progress!)

Anyway, serious storms battered the South Coast in England this weekend, as you can see in the gallery on the link below!

For those not from the UK, Portland is where Sailing Olympics will be in 2012 (the bay on the right hand side of picture 7)

The seagulls were mad. The force off the winds that day were unbelivable. I struggled to keep my eyes open! Looking up close at some of those shots you couldn't belive how our feathered friends thought nothing off it!

The people on the beach in the second shot really give a sense of the scale of the waves. Great shots.

Welcome!! Stunning shots - that's some force in that sea! You have lots of wonderful photos in your gallery too. I think Beachcomber will enjoy your beach scenes when he gets a chance to see them.
