Default My Thanksgiving turkey---

Ok, I know Halloween is long over but thes pics would have all fit in. I never thought I'd be taking pictures of such gross things.

My Thanksgiving turkey. This guy had been standing on the deck with wings outspread, but by the time I handed off the dogs leashes and got my camera ready, well----

Aren't I handsome

I still can't believe I was taking pics of a vulture. If you look at the larger image on Flickr you can tell he recently finished eating.

Our Thanksgiving Turkey

And aren't we supposed to swat these things????---

The FLY

I know this is technically not a good shot. I have to read up more on taking pics of spiders. Look at the pic closer tho and you can tell what he thought of my taking his pic. LOL He shot me the finger----

It gave me the finger

Coments are always welcome & appreciated.

Thanks Steve, That's really apppreciated. I bought some macro filters that screw onto my lens and I got that fly shot with them.

Quick get the shotgun there's the Thanksgiving Turkey Vulture! Well I certainly enjoyed viewing these and think you should venture this direction more often.

Thank you so much FDCPR. As we were in a wildlife preserve I couldn't bring out my shotgun. LOL

Thanks Leona. Don't tell anyone but I did swat the fly after I took the pics. The spider was outside so I left him alone.

These are great shots Shirley, I have never seen a vulture before and can't say they are the most prettiest bird I have ever seen, but you did do a good job at capturing it. Flies are pesky things aren't they, always flying around anoying the s**t out of you. That spider sure has a cheek giving you the fingers, I hope you showed him what for, lol.

Thank you Angela. That vulture was pretty hideous and he was huge. He actually scared me a little. And I didn't see what the spider had done till it was too late to give him the same LOL
